About us —
Cowburn Land was founded by David Cowburn to assist land & property owners maximise the value of their assets. We can guide you through the entire process during which you will have contact direct with David Cowburn, – founder and managing director of Cowburn Land.
With over 20 years’ experience as a chartered surveyor and member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) David has a passion for working with individual landowners to maximise the value of their asset.
Previously David was Senior Partner at Armitstead Barnett, a firm of surveyors covering the north west of England. He was there for 20 years and was responsible for running the development department.
In 2013 David had the honour of being made a Fellow of the Royal Institution of chartered Surveyors allowing him to use the designation FRICS after his name.
“I wanted to start a firm that specialises in this key area so that my clients can receive my attention when needed.”
In his spare time aside from family fun, David loves fell running, particularly in Cumbria and is a member of Chorley running club. In 2016 David completed the Lakeland 100 a non-stop 105 mile race around Cumbria.
He is also a 200-hour qualified yoga teacher. He teaches regular classes, outside of office hours and in 2019 taught what is believed to be Englands highest yoga class on top of Helvellyn in the Lake District national park.
